SMHS Parking Regulations



Parking Application / Start Smart Classes
We recommend you attend one of these sessions during your Sophomore, Junior year. Do not wait until you are a Senior-classes fill up quickly.

Students who wish to park on campus must complete the Start Smart Class before applying for a parking permit.

Due to the over-whelming attendance, students are required to register on-line. Only students with on-line registration tickets will be admitted. No walk-ins will be accepted at the door. There is no wait list.

You are required to attend a Start Smart session only once in your high school years.This presentation is a requirement for a school campus parking pass.

A parent must be present in order for student to receive credit for session.

Parking permits will be available in the Finance Office during lunch only. Students must bring a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, current registration and completed parking permit application (including parent signature).

Presentation begins 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
A parent must be present during presentation.
**No children under the age of 12 will be permitted to attend due to content of subject matter.

No parking permit will be issued to any student who has not completed the "Start Smart Class" or who still owes money for books or equipment and/or has a Saturday School attendance obligation from previous years.
