How to Communicate Effectively

Step 1: Identify your area of need 

(Content, Grade or Personal)

Step 2: Determine the best time to discuss area of need with your teacher. 

Step 3: Approach your teacher and be specific about what you need . 

*Remenber to be calm and neutral with your tone.

*Talk to you teacher in person, but if you need to address a situation immediately and you do not have class soon email your teacher.

Step 4: Be prepared to listen to the advice your teacher gives, as well as to answer questions your teacher may ask.
