Mission
Welcome to the San Marcos High School Library. We are happy you have chosen to learn more about the resources available to you through the library. We believe that a love of lifelong learning is born in the heart of a student who has access to high quality resources and develops the skills to use those resources appropriately.
Our goal at the library is to provide equal access to the highest quality materials available. We strive to provide all students with quality instruction in the use of the library and all of its resources – books, periodicals, and technology. We teach classes throughout the year on topics such as research, database searching, and source citation. Through these purposeful learning experiences, we hope to provide students with the skills needed to develop as effective problem solvers, communicators, and citizens.
