Use your school email address to contact a tutor for help in a specific subject.

Steps to Contact:

1. Email at least 2 tutors on the same email after you have looked at the tutor’s availability. CC  Mrs. Marlaire, [email protected], so that she knows if a tutor responds to you. If a tutor has not responded within 3 days after sending your email request, please email Mrs. Marlaire so she can follow up.

2.In the subject heading, write SMHS On Call Tutoring: Name of Subject

3. In the body of the email: State your name, the subject your need help with, the specific concept(s) you want assistance with and the ideal days, times and meeting space on campus.

Suggestions for meeting space: subject teacher’s classroom, common communal space such as tables outside of teacher classrooms or  library.

4.Tutors and Clients should reply all when setting first appointment so that other tutors and Mrs. Marlaire are aware that contact has been made.
