As we move forward with our Distance Learning Plan we have developed a Parent Resources https://www.smusd.org/parentresources to assist students and families navigating district Chromebooks, Google Classroom, Clever, the SMUSD Cloud, in addition to other platforms. Please visit this website regularly for updates and information. 

If you are having problems with a district-provided Chromebook or accessing the SMUSD Cloud, please use the guides and videos on this site. If you are unable to resolve the problem, starting April 14th, we will also have a Technology Help Desk phone line for families to call for help with these devices. If we are unable to help you over the phone, you will need to reach out to your school’s office to schedule a time to exchange the Chromebook for a new one. 

The Help Desk phone number is (760) 760-290-2598. Calls will be answered Monday - Friday from 8 am to 3 pm. If all lines are busy, you will be transferred to voicemail. On the voicemail message, please leave your full name, child’s full name, student ID #, phone number where you can be reached and the problem you are experiencing. One of our technicians will return your call as soon as possible. You can also leave your email address if an email response will work better for your family.
