Starting Spring 2026, San Marcos High School students can earn a certificate and college credit through Palomar College’s Ready to Work Program!
This one-semester program includes three Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration courses (ACR 101, ACR 102, and ACR 105). Students who complete the program will earn 7 college credits and be career-ready to start working in the HVAC industry.
Program Highlights:
  • 🎓 Free Tuition for SMUSD students
  • 🚌 Free Bussing to Palomar College (Escondido campus)
  • 💼 Career-Ready Certification upon completion
🚨 Requirements:
Students must have an unscheduled 5th or 6th period to participate. Classes run four days a week after school for one semester.
