🐾 Therapy Dogs on Campus – November 18

San Marcos High School is excited to welcome Love on a Leash therapy dogs to campus!

📅 Date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025
🕐 Time: 12:57–1:27 PM (Lunch)
📍 Location: Quad – Amphitheater
🎯 Purpose: The Bring Change to Mind Club will host therapy dogs during lunch to help raise awareness about mental health and coping with stress.


In compliance with Board Policy 6163.2 – “Animals at School”, we want to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all students, staff, and animals.
If your student has any health-related conditions that may be affected by a dog’s presence, please download and complete the form below and return it to the Assistant Principals’ Office or email it to Assistant Principal Jesse Mindlin at jesse.mindlin@smusd.org by Monday, November 17.

You may indicate if your student has any of the following concerns:
☐ Allergies to dogs
☐ Asthma or breathing sensitivities
☐ Other health conditions or concerns triggered by dogs


Students with health-related conditions will be provided accommodations. No student will be displaced to accommodate non-service animals on campus.
