🚗 Start Smart Program - Required for SMHS Student Parking 🚗

Want to park on campus this year?
Completion of the Start Smart Program is mandatory for all students who want to obtain a parking permit while attending SMHS. This is a one-time requirement.

📅 Upcoming Start Smart Program Dates:

• Wednesday, August 6th at 6:00 PM – SMHS Theater
• Tuesday, September 23rd at 6:00 PM – SMHS Theater

✅ No need to sign up in advance.
✅ Bring your student ID card – attendance will be scanned at the door.
✅ Parent/guardian must attend with you.
(Program lasts approximately 2 hours)

🅿️ 2025-26 Parking Permit Process:

Seniors have priority and can obtain a permit during registration (August 5–8)by completing all the following:

• ✅ Completion of the Start Smart course (bring certificate if taken elsewhere)
• ✅ Possession of a valid driver’s license
• ✅ Submission of the online Parking Application + all required paperwork
  (Application goes live on our website August 1.)

After registration week, remaining spots will be available through a lottery for Seniors and Juniors who submit the Student Parking Intent Form. Notification of selection will be sent via student email.
